URBAN MOBILITY COUNTER

The artificial intelligence algorithm identifies the type (class) of moving object and then quantifies the number of objects according to their class moving in a specific territory. In times of COVID-19, it is complex to displace people to perform these counts, so we propose to do counts using the current camera infrastructure.

Aim:

Carry out a count of urban mobility classes on the cycle-pedestrian routes established in 3 times: t0, t1 and t2.

  • t0 - is carried out prior to municipal intervention, which establishes the baseline.

  • t1 - during the implementation of the project between the Municipality and #LaNuevaMovilidad.

  • t2 - date established to measure the adoption of the active mobility strategy.
